Jim Fahy, CRPC®

Financial Advisor

Jim is a financial professional that works with individuals and families on reaching their financial goals. He prides himself on his ability to listen and the process driven approach he uses to develop and implement financial plans for his clients. Growing up as the eighth child in a family of twelve children, Jim learned at an early age the importance of a strong work ethic and the value of saving money. Jim began working at the age of eleven as a golf caddy and continued to do so until he graduated from The Pennsylvania State University.

Upon graduating from college, Jim operated various nursing facilities as a Nursing Home Administrator. During his time as an administrator, it became clear to Jim that most people that were admitted to his facilities never prepared financially for the cost of long-term care, so he decided to do something about it. Jim left the nursing home industry to pursue a career in financial planning so he could help others plan better for their financial future. Jim has been in the financial services industry since 2004. He has the Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 licenses, and is also current with his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation.

When Jim isn't working, he can be found enjoying time with his wife, Mary Kay, and four children, Anna, Erin, James, and Patrick. Their favorite family activities include time at the beach, skiing on the slopes, hitting the links, and of course, Saturdays in Happy Valley cheering on their Nittany Lions!

Jim's favorite quote is “Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right!” – Henry Ford. Why? Because if you believe you can, you will find a way to make it happen.
